I am still looking for people to form a team to compete at this. I will be at the Blackhawk Down Scenario this coming weekend. I want to form a team that I can practice with on future open days. I'm looking for people that want to be on a team to play in tournaments. If you're going to Blackhawk Down or want to form a team for tournaments, please let me know so that we can sign up and practice as a team during open days.

All games are single shot eliminations. Max points for each team in each game is at least 100 points. Joint mission teams earn the same amount of points regardless of which team capture the objective.

Gun shoots do not count. Dead players don’t talk. No barrel taping. No surrender. Defending teams cannot move or hide objectives.

An obvious hit is considered when a play should have felt the hit. Most hits are considered obvious hits and thus players should call themselves out. Exceptions to this are some hits on the pod pack, hit’s while running. If a ref see’s that a player is hit the ref may wait to see if the player calls for a paint check, if the player does not, then a one for one is called. If a player is hit and they continue to play through without calling for a paint-check a one for one penalty is enforced. The second offense is ejection for that player from the event.

Dead players don’t talk. If a player that has been eliminated gives information to a teammate who is still in the game that player is automatically eliminated. An additional 5 point penalty is also assessed to that players team. Players are allowed to yell words of encouragement (example “come on guys”), but cannot give information about the game (example “come on guys, there’s only one guy left”). When in doubt just keep your mouth shut. If you are watching a game and give out information to an active player your team will be penalized 10 points.

The game does not stop for a paint-check. A player may return fire while being paint-checked. A ref will ask to see clothing that is not clearly visible (example “show me your left knee”). If a player achieves an objective and found to have a hit the objective is waived off and the opposing team is awarded the points. NOTE: If a player is running for an objective the defending player is expected to stop shooting as soon as the attacker has attained the objective. If a defender continues to shoot at a player after the objective is obtained then any hits will be considered void and the objective will be awarded to the attacking player. Additional penalty’s may be enforced depending on the perceived intent of a players actions.

Players can call paint-checks on themselves and opponents. When calling a paint-check on an opponent a player should state specifically which body part was hit. Players who continually call for paint checks on other players will be ignored. If a player is deemed to have called a paint check to advance his position that player will be called out.

Between games it is a players responsibility to wipe off old hits.

Any player caught blatantly wiping a hit will immediately be kicked out of the tournament and banned from all future events at Big Pearl Paintball. A 2 for 1 penalty will also be assessed.

Cursing during a game is a 2 point penalty per curse word. It is a ref’s discretion to allow for one warning per player. Extreme cases will result in ejection from the event.

If a player carrying a flag is shot the flag is to be placed where the player was first shot.

Objectives must be clearly held in hand, not concealed. If you are caught concealing an objective the player will be eliminated and the objective will be placed either at the original start point or where the player was called out. Second offense is ejection of player from the tournament.

The dead box cannot be used as a bunker. It is a ref’s discretion to warn a player first (example “please move away from the dead box”). If a player is within 2 feet of the dead box and using it for cover while being shoot at the player will be eliminated.

Some games will have specific boundary’s, others will not. No player in a game should be within shooting distance of the parking lot. Players deemed out of bounds may be given a warning or simply eliminated. If a player is deemed to be intentionally flanking out of bounds the player will be eliminated from the tournament.
