Skyline

Here goes.... We (Ashley, Melvin, DJ, Luke Anderson, & Me) went to Skyline Paintball in Stausburg, VA this past Sunday and played open play all day. -Very nice parking and staging. They have plenty of picknic tables covered with either car ports or some sort of shelter. They had a nice target/chronograph area next to the parking lot. 3000 and 4500 PSI fills. -Speedball was running, not as many as I've heard they've had in the past, but at least 4-6 teams were out there playing speedball.… Continue

Blackhawk Down II Recap

This is just my thoughts on this weeks scenario event. We have about 35 players and 7-8 refs. Thank you to all the people tha ref'd on short notice. Even though we had a lot of inexperienced people helping out things went pretty well. Almost no rain made for a great event, however I know of at least a few people that didn't come because of the forcast. That's a shame, if you wait until there's a clear forcast you may never play! Road Trip

Does anyone want to do a day trip to the Swamp on Nov 15th, that's a Sunday. It's near VA Beach on the coast. Or potentially December 6th the first Sunday in December. The next date that would make sense would be Jan 17th, 2010. Me and DJ could only potentially do a Sunday trip because that's the only time the store and field are closed. field in OHIO open for one more Saturday

We have decided to have the field in OHIO open for one more Saturday to use up some of the CO2 and nitrogen that we can’t save. Entry fee will be $10 rentals will be $7 our rental package will be $25 we will have paint available for $5 for a bag of 500, and $5 dollars off any box of paint. Open play, Ohio field, sat, oct.17 2009

Today was a suprisingly good day for paintball. When i got up this morning it looked like crap and i wasn't expecting to see a huge turnout at the field. But to my suprise when i got there at 10, Jason told me that a group had showed up at 8 and wanted to play! So apparently i missed out, but oh well you never know. Tippmann Package

Just got a box in from Tippmann. The sent us 3 B I G banners. We're going to put one up at each field, and one in the store. Also got the new Tippmann pistol in. It's pretty nice, not that I've seen a lot a pistols. Comes with two clips and a case. A little heavey on the barrel side, which might through off your aim. I like the release for the clips. It's pretty easy to reach and release quickly, but I don't think it will have the issue of releasing during a game. The spring in the magazine was… Continue

Eco-Fill

DraXxus/Procaps is coming out with a Eco friendly paintball. Pretty much all company's are going towards a new, more eco friendly fill, so don’t mistake this post as a Procaps ad. The idea is for the fill to have less of an environmental impact. I personally didn't think the old fill was that bad. From what I've read (and that's not much) I gather the main ingredient in the current fill is a substance known as PEG. PEG was primarily made up of some kind of oil. Refs for Glasgow

We're going to need some ref's for this Saturday in Glasgow. It appears we are going to have a very good turnout for this weekends event, which means we need to have at least 4-8 refs.
