Here we go...

 

One, the Empire Machine Vapor is a rehash of the Lux.  Kind of sucks that  the Gardener brother have all their patens purchased by KEE then their gun copied.  Oh well that's life.  It's retailing for $1,250-yikes...who's going to be able to afford that?

 

Next, Empire does have a new version of the auto cocker that looks promising.

 

Macdev's gun has bluetooth technology and a color screen, but again I didn't really see anything that set it apart.  Again over priced for what it is.

 

Took the Bob Long class for the Marq V2.  Very impressed with Bob Long as a person.  Seems like he is commited to making quality products here in the US.  He likes popit guns the best and seemed to feel that gun technology is pretty well maxed out, but hinted that he is coming out with a spoolvalve that is going to be pretty awesome.  I learned a lot in his class and he was an entertaining guy to just talk to.  FYI, he's a big bow hunter.

 

There were a lot of mag fed guns.  Honestly they all look like different versions of the same thing to me.  Of course everyone thinks there's is the best.

 

New Ego is for real.  It was very impressive.  Glad I don't have any Ego 13's left in the shop, b/c they just dropped in value a bunch.  $1,350 price tag will scare most buyers away, but PE has a solid following that will do anything to get the newest gun no matter what the price.  It's pretty much impossible to say "No Pictures" unless your going to keep the gun in a back room.  Why bother?  Tomorrow I'm taking video.

 

Talked to Jim Lively.  Great guy, we might be able to get him to come to the field sometime.

 

Got to hang out with Wade Hansbury, Matt Ader, and Kevin.  All great people and it was nice to have people to talk to while we walked around.

 

Exalt has a nice new squeegie.  I picked up 20.  They also have a was of printing a field map on a towel that doubles as a mask rag.  Very impressive.

 

Lapco's owner always amazes me with his knowledge of everything.  he has a great new barrel for first strike rounds.

 

Was kind of disappointed that so much seemed rehashed.  Like an improved version of what was there last year.  Not everything was like that, but no ground breaking inovations either.

 

I think I'm in the exact same room that I was in last year and the are like over a 1,000 rooms here.  This place is rumored to be an old bomb shelter.

Just to let you know, the Gardner Bros. Helped Kee design the new Impulse. They weren't left completely out of the loop.
